50 Miles Double Handed

Martin Hingst proved during the 50 Miles Double that the TEN can also be sailed by a small crew of two sailors. Under heavy conditions, with windspeeds of 35 knots, the TEN sailed the fastest time in the class 30-35ft. Results, photos and a report can be found on www.50mijl.nl.

Shanghai Boatshow

In April 2012, the yard, the designer Kees van de Stadt and the Sailmaker participated the Shanghai Boatshow. The TEN and the prototype of the DC15 were showed. There was a lot of interest of a new generation of enthousiastic chinese sailors and also from European and American companies.

China Cup 2011

Sailmaker Martin Hingst, sailed the China Cup with a chinese boat and a chinese crew. The event was sailed in Shengzhen, in the neighbourhood of Hong Kong. The TEN sailed in the IRC2 class, and won a lot of races. For 2012, the goal is to sail with multiple TEN's in her own class.
